Live FPL auto-subs
stefPL applies automatic substitutions during the gameweek rather than at the end of it. When a starter's matches are over and they did not play, the bench player who replaces them is counted straight away in live scores and the mini-league table.

When a substitution is made
A starting player is replaced only when all of their fixtures in the gameweek are finished and they played 0 minutes. Bench priority and formation rules are the same as FPL's: at least one goalkeeper, three defenders, two midfielders and one forward.
Double gameweeks
A player with a fixture still to come is never subbed out, even if they missed their first match. The captain is not switched to the vice-captain mid-way through a double gameweek for the same reason.
Captain and vice-captain
If the captain's fixtures are all finished and they did not play, the vice-captain's points are doubled — or tripled with Triple Captain active. Bench Boost counts all fifteen players and makes no substitutions.
Provisional and final scores
Live auto-subs are marked as provisional until FPL confirms the gameweek. The table then switches to FPL's official numbers.
Questions
Why are my live points different from the official FPL app?
During the gameweek stefPL counts auto-subs and vice-captaincy as soon as they are certain. Once FPL confirms the gameweek, both show the same final score.
Where do I find my FPL league ID?
You don't need it: enter your FPL team ID instead and pick from the leagues you are in. Your team ID is the number in your team's address, fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/ID/. To add a league directly, open it on the FPL website — the number after /leagues/ is the league ID.
Do I need an account or my FPL password?
No. stefPL only reads public FPL data. There is no sign-up and no login; the leagues you follow are saved in your browser.
Is stefPL an official FPL app?
No. stefPL is an independent app. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League.
